3D and motion design for products, websites and advertising
3D and motion design at Best Boost Partners is the production of 3D images and animation for websites, products and advertising by the studio’s own designer. The service suits companies that need product renders, an explainer video, an animated scene for a site or an animated logo. The work can be ordered on its own or together with site design and development. You receive final files in the agreed formats and sizes, the storyboard and style frame, and a note on licences for fonts, music and stock material.

What does 3D and motion design include?
3D and motion design at Best Boost Partners covers four directions of work. Each direction has its own page with the list of work and the files you receive.
3D visualisation
Models and still renders of products, packaging, devices and interiors: materials, light, camera angles, a set of images for a site, a marketplace card or advertising.
Learn moreMotion graphics and video
Explainer videos, product presentations, advertising clips and animated infographics: script, storyboard, animation, titles and subtitles in several languages.
Learn more3D and animation for websites
A 3D or animated scene for the first screen, scroll animation, animated icons, hover and loading states, designed within a weight budget so that the page stays fast.
Learn moreLogo animation and social clips
An animated logo for video and for a site, short vertical and square clips for social networks and advertising, templates for recurring posts, versions in 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16.

When is 3D and motion design needed?
- A product is hard or costly to photograph, or does not exist yet, and the site or the marketplace card needs images of it.
- A service or a product takes long to explain in text, and a short video would show how it works.
- The first screen of the site needs a 3D or animated scene that does not slow the page down.
- The logo exists only as a static image, while your videos and social posts need an animated version.
- An advertising campaign needs the same clip in several aspect ratios and languages.
How does work on a 3D or motion project go?
Brief and estimate
You describe what is shown, where the result will be used, the length, the format and the references you like. We reply within one working day, then name the price and the deadline and fix the scope of work and the rounds of revisions in a contract.
Script or storyboard
For a video we write a script and draw a storyboard: every scene as a frame with a note on the action and the text. For still renders the storyboard is replaced by a list of camera angles.
Style frame
The designer prepares one finished still that fixes the look: colours, materials, light and typography. The rest of the work follows the approved style frame.
Animatic and rough animation
The storyboard frames are set to time, with rough movement and a draft of the sound. At this stage the rhythm and the length are checked, while changes are still cheap.
Final animation, sound and export
The designer finishes the animation or the renders, adds music, voice-over and sound effects if they are part of the scope, and exports the files in the formats and sizes of each platform.
What do you receive at the end of a 3D or motion project?
- Final files in the agreed formats and sizes: MP4 or WebM video, GIF, Lottie (JSON) animation, image sequences, PNG or JPG renders.
- 3D models in GLB or glTF for the web, if the model is part of the scope.
- The approved storyboard and the style frame.
- Versions in the aspect ratios of each platform, for example 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16.
- Source project files, when their handover is fixed in the contract.
- A note on the licences for fonts, music and stock material used in the work.
What limits does 3D and motion design have, and how do we work with them?
The look is approved before animation
The storyboard and the style frame are approved before the final animation starts. A change to the script after animation has started means redoing finished work, which is why the script is approved first.
A weight budget for scenes on a page
Heavy 3D on a page costs loading speed. A scene for a website is designed within a file weight budget, with lazy loading and a static fallback image, so that Core Web Vitals do not suffer.
Licences are named in advance
Music, voice-over and stock footage are licensed separately. We name their cost before the work starts and list every licence in the note handed over with the files.
Frequently asked questions
How much does 3D and motion design cost?
There is no price list for 3D and motion design, because the cost depends on the length of the video, the number of scenes or renders and the complexity of the models. Best Boost Partners names the price and the deadline after the brief and a look at the project. Music, voice-over and stock footage are licensed separately, and their cost is named in advance.
How many rounds of revisions are included in the work?
The rounds of revisions are fixed in the scope of the contract for three stages: the storyboard, the style frame and the animation. Comments at the early stages are quick to apply. A change to the script after animation has started means redoing work that is already finished.
Can you make animation for a site that another team is building?
Yes. 3D and motion design can be ordered on its own, and the files are then handed over in the formats your developers need. When Best Boost Partners also designs and develops the site, the scene is planned together with the page layout and the loading speed.
Do you hand over the source project files?
Source project files are handed over when this is fixed in the contract, so say in the brief that you need them. The final files in the agreed formats, the storyboard and the style frame are handed over in every project.
Who is responsible for the music, the voice-over and the texts in a video?
Music, voice-over and stock footage are licensed separately from the designer’s work, and we name their cost before the work starts. You may also supply your own recordings and materials. Titles and subtitles are prepared in English, Russian and Ukrainian, the working languages of the studio. The licences are listed in the note you receive with the final files.
