Logo animation and short clips for social networks and advertising

Logo animation and social clips are a direction of 3D and motion design at Best Boost Partners: an animated logo as an intro and outro for video and for a site, short vertical and square clips for social networks and advertising, and templates for recurring posts. The service suits companies that publish video regularly and want it to look consistent. The studio’s own designer prepares every piece in the platform aspect ratios: 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16. You receive the files in MP4, WebM, GIF or Lottie (JSON).

What do we do in logo animation and social clips?

  1. Animated logo

The logo is animated from its vector file: how the mark appears, how the name is assembled, where the movement ends. The animation follows the shape of the logo and does not redraw it.

  2. Intro and outro

The animated logo is prepared as a short intro and an outro with room for a site address or a call to action. Versions are exported on a light and a dark background and, where the format allows, on a transparent one.

  3. Logo for a site

For a site the animated logo is exported to Lottie (JSON) or WebM, so that the header or the loading screen shows it with little added weight.

  4. Short clips for social networks and advertising

Vertical and square clips are made for viewing on a phone: large text, the message in the first seconds, subtitles for viewing without sound.

  5. Templates for recurring posts

For repeating formats such as announcements, quotes, offers and results we make animated templates. Your team changes the text and the image and exports a new post in the same style.

  6. Versions for each platform

Every clip is laid out separately in 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16. The text and the logo stay inside the safe areas, where the interface of the platform does not cover them.

What do you get from logo animation and social clips?

  • The animated logo as an intro and an outro in MP4 or WebM, on a light and a dark background and, where the format allows, a transparent one.
  • The animated logo for a site in Lottie (JSON), WebM or GIF.
  • Clips in the aspect ratios named in the brief: 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16.
  • Templates for recurring posts with a short instruction on replacing the text and the images.
  • A note on the licences for the fonts and the music used in the clips.

When are logo animation and social clips needed?

  • The company publishes video, and every clip begins and ends in its own way.
  • The logo has been renewed, and the old animated version no longer matches it.
  • An advertising campaign in social networks needs one message in vertical, square and horizontal formats.
  • The team publishes posts of the same kind every week and assembles each of them from scratch.

Frequently asked questions

What do you need to animate our logo?

Logo animation needs the logo in a vector format, the brand colours and fonts, and a note on where the animation will be used. If the logo exists only as a raster image, it is first redrawn in vector, and this is a separate task within the design service. References of animation that you like help to agree the character of the movement sooner.

Why can one clip not be used in all social networks?

Platforms show video in different aspect ratios, and their interfaces cover different parts of the frame. A horizontal 16:9 clip cropped to 9:16 loses text and the edges of the picture. Each version is therefore laid out separately, with the text and the logo placed inside the safe area of the platform.

Will we be able to change the text in the post templates ourselves?

Yes, the templates for recurring posts are made for exactly this. The text and the image are replaced, while the animation, the fonts and the colours stay unchanged. The programme in which your team will edit the templates is agreed in the brief, because the template is built for it.
