Logo, identity and graphics for screen and print
Logo, identity and graphics is a direction of the Design service at Best Boost Partners for companies that need a recognisable look. The studio’s own designer draws a logo in several lockups, selects colours and fonts and writes the rules of use into a short guide. In the same style we prepare banners, social media covers and post templates, presentations, business cards and other printed materials. You receive source files and exported files prepared for screen and for print.
What do we draw for a brand identity?
Logo in several lockups
The logo is drawn in a horizontal and a compact lockup, as a separate mark, in colour, in one colour and for dark backgrounds. We check that the logo stays legible at the size of a browser tab icon and on a business card.
Colours and fonts
The palette names the main, additional and background colours with their values for screen and for print. Fonts for headings and body text are chosen with attention to the languages you write in and to the licence terms.
Short brand guide
The guide shows the logo lockups, the clear space, the minimum size, the colours, the fonts and examples of wrong use. The guide stays a short document that a contractor or a new employee can read in one sitting.
Banners and social media graphics
We draw advertising banners in the sizes of the chosen platforms, profile covers and post templates. The templates have editable areas for text and image, so your staff can make new posts in the same style.
Presentations
A presentation template includes a title slide, text slides, tables, charts, quotes and a closing slide. We can also design a finished presentation from your text and figures.
Business cards and printed materials
Business cards, letterheads, leaflets and other printed materials are drawn in the brand style. Print files are prepared to the printer’s requirements: size, bleed, colour model and fonts converted to outlines.
What do you get with a logo and brand identity?
- The logo in all lockups as vector and raster files: in colour, in one colour and for dark backgrounds.
- A brand guide with the colours, fonts, clear space, minimum size and rules of use.
- Banners, covers and post templates as source files and as exported images in the agreed sizes.
- A presentation template or a finished presentation in the format you work in.
- Print-ready files of business cards and other printed materials, prepared to the printer’s requirements.
When are a logo, an identity or graphics needed?
- A new company or product has a name but no logo, colours or fonts.
- The logo exists only as a small picture, and nobody has a vector file or a version for dark backgrounds.
- Banners, posts and presentations are made by different people, and the materials look as if they came from different companies.
- You are preparing for an exhibition, a launch or an advertising campaign and need printed and digital materials in one style.
Frequently asked questions
How many logo options will we see?
The number of directions the designer shows at the concept stage is fixed in the scope of the contract. Every direction is shown on real carriers: a site header, a profile picture, a business card. You choose one direction, and the designer refines that direction within the agreed rounds of revisions.
Can you update an existing logo instead of drawing a new one?
Yes. If customers recognise the logo, a careful update is often more reasonable than a replacement: the designer redraws the logo in vector, corrects the proportions and the lettering, and adds the missing lockups and colour versions. The updated logo receives the same kind of guide as a new one.
How do files for screen differ from files for print?
Files for screen are prepared in the RGB model at pixel sizes, in PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP format. Files for print are prepared in CMYK or spot colours at the physical size, with bleed and with fonts converted to outlines, usually as PDF. You receive both sets, so a logo or a banner does not have to be redrawn for the printer.
