Content and maintenance for a PBN network
Content and maintenance is the work that keeps the sites of a PBN network alive after launch: restoring or writing content for each site, regular publications, monitoring of uptime and indexing, renewal of domains and hosting, and replacement of sites that have dropped out of the index. Best Boost Partners does this work within the PBN networks service. You receive regular reports and a register that always shows the current state of the network.
What exactly do we do to maintain the network?
Restoring content
Where a domain has a past worth keeping, we rebuild its former structure and the pages that outside links lead to. Those pages get content on the same subject at the same addresses, so the old links lead to live pages.
New content
Each site gets articles written for its topic and its reader, with its own author manner and layout. Texts are not copied between sites of the network and are not made from one template.
Regular publications
Every site has its own publication schedule, and new articles keep coming out after the links to your project are placed. A site that stops updating on the day the link appears looks abandoned.
Uptime and indexing monitoring
We check that every site opens, that its certificate is valid and that its pages are in the index. A site that stops opening or loses pages from the index is examined at once, and the cause is written in the register.
Renewals
Domains and hosting are renewed ahead of time, by the dates in the register. A domain that expires through oversight takes its links with it and may go to another buyer.
Replacing lost sites
A site that has dropped out of the index and does not return is switched off, and its links are moved to a new site on another domain. The replacement passes the same domain check and the same separation of parameters.
What do you get from content and maintenance?
- A content plan for every site: topics, publication dates and the pages that carry links.
- Published articles on every site, written for that site and not repeated elsewhere in the network.
- A monitoring report: uptime, pages in the index and incidents for every site.
- A renewal calendar for domains and hosting with the cost of each renewal.
- An updated register after every replacement: the old site, the new site and the moved links.
When is content and maintenance needed?
- The network is launched, and its sites have to keep publishing and stay in the index.
- Your network was built earlier and has stood without updates, renewals or checks.
- Sites of the network are dropping out of the index, and nobody keeps a record of the lost links.
- Your team assembles the sites itself and needs a contractor for content and monitoring.
Frequently asked questions
Who writes the content for PBN sites?
The texts are written by our authors in English, Russian or Ukrainian, to a brief prepared for each site. Every site has its own topic, tone and structure, so the texts of one network do not resemble each other. The work follows the same rules as our Copywriting service.
What happens when a PBN site drops out of the index?
First we look for the cause: a technical fault, a hosting problem or a decision of the search engine. A technical fault is repaired and the site is sent for indexing again. A site removed by the search engine is switched off and replaced, and the replacement is noted in the register.
How long does a PBN network have to be maintained?
A PBN network needs maintenance for as long as its links are meant to work. A site with an expired domain or switched-off hosting stops passing its links at once. The scope and period of maintenance are fixed in the contract, and with the register you can take the upkeep over yourself.
